i’m looking for a dress for an event that ends in ‘ball,’ and i need an honest assessment of this one. note the velvet accents. too boring? too plain? too short? edit: it’s a school event and girls definitely wear short dresses. i’m really worried that it’s too plain… i’d love to wear something that makes the tiniest of statements, and i can’t tell if this is in any way doing that. i need to hire someone to dress me. [another reason I run: black leggings and a long sleeve shirt never go out of style when paired with running sneakers and the intention to run at some point that day.]
